OUR SERVICES

Bespoke Design

Want to stand out from the crowd? We offer a full bespoke design service for our stationery. Regardless of the occasion, we can create a design which suits your event perfectly, whether this be a modern marvel or a vintage experience.

Laser Cutting

Using state of the art laser-cutters we are able create intricate works of art. This method allows a level of precision that no other method allows and the end result is an incredible amount of detail which equals pure amazingness. As stunning as laser-cutting is, please bear in mind that the area and level of detail all affect the final price of the stationery, the more you have and the finer you go, the more the stationery will cost.

Foil Block

This more luxurious method uses heated metal dies which are pressed onto foil material, transferring the foil material to the paper/card. The effect creates invitations which are fit for royalty. The foils comes in almost any colour and finish, but the most popular are silver, gold and rose gold. The set up costs for foil stamping can be quite high due to a custom dies having to be produced for each component being foiled stamped..

Letter Press

Letterpress printing involves locking movable type into the bed of a press, inking it, and rolling or pressing paper against it to form an impression. Items printed on a letterpress can be easily identified by the impressions of the letters or design, which sink into the paper surface. It works most effectively with thick, soft card so that you can see the impression. Letterpress printing requires more time, resulting in higher costs, and each colour requires a separate pass. Similar to foiling, Letterpress also requires a die to create the impression and that also adds to the cost.

Materials

We love playing with different materials. The staple material here at Intricate Creations is of-course paper and card. We cut this day in day out, so we know how it’s done. We have mastered this art as every card type reacts differently to the laser. We have optimum settings for each of our 190 card types and colours to ensure we have almost no charring on your stationery. Other materials include Acrylic/Perspex stationery, Stainless Steel stationery, Velvet stationery and Wood stationery to name a few.

Stationery

Our stationery is not limited to weddings, but any of life’s events. We have done stationery for Private Parties, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, Christening and corporate events to name a few. It is not just the invitations we create, but all the co-ordinating stationery that will tell your story. This ranges from Save the Dates, Reply Cards, Invitations, Menus, Place Settings, Table Names and Table Numbers, Seating Plans, Favour, Thank You Cards and personalised gifts.

Digital Print

As standard, all of our stationery comes with digital printing. Using a state of the art digital printing press, our print quality is second to none and even rivals some of the more traditional methods such as Offset Litho or Silk Screen. Digital printing is the most cost effective printing method, perfect for short runs and customisation. The only downside to digital printing is printing light colours onto dark stock. If lighter ink is required then another printing method will be required. Get in touch as we can go through the options with you.

UV Print

UV printing is different from conventional printing in many ways. It is still ink on paper but the ink dries through a completely different process. When the inks are exposed to ultraviolet lights they turn from a liquid, or paste, to a solid. One of the biggest advantages of UV printing is that the inks can dry on plastic and other non-porous substrates making it a perfect process for printing onto our Perspex stationery. Basically, if you can get the stock through the press you can print on it whether this be acrylic/Perspex, wood or metal.
